Sorrivoli

The village of Sorrivoli still preserves the two entrance gates to its historic centre, clearly visible from outside the walls.

The fortress can also be reached via a staircase leading from the main road directly to the castle entrance.

The Fortress of Sorrivoli

The Fortress of Sorrivoli, whose outer walls and keep remain intact, stands on the left bank of the Rubicone River, in the hilly area marking the boundary between the territories of Cesena and Rimini.

Today, it houses the parish, the Sorrivoli Cultural Association and the University of Peace, and hosts numerous cultural events and activities.

The International Puppet Festival

One of the village’s most distinctive events is the International Puppet Festival, held in late August, bringing Sorrivoli to life with performances and activities dedicated to puppetry.
